How can I put several email addresses into a group or category so I do not have to type each address?

You have to make a group listing on your Send page. If done right, then you checkmark the people you would like to send it to once, then save that setting, so you just have to click that one checkmark in the future.

How can I put several email addresses into a group or category so I do not have to type each address?
well, I think I understand what you want to do. Go to the Yahoo mail page, then click compose. Yahoo will open up where you have a place to put email addresses. simply click on the beginning of that line and your contacts will come up in a window. follow directions from that point in the window. hope that helps.
Reply:you search for that group in yahoo groups and make yourself a member of it. then you can simply type the group's email id to send the mails to all the members..
Reply:This is really easy Yvonne.

Go to your mail page and click the "addresses" tab. Your address book opens-----you will see across the top, several tabs such as delete --send mail--AND "add to category".

Now, put a check in the little box by each name you want and then click "add to category".

A drop down menu--where you need to click "new category". A pop up asks you to name it and click ok,---and the names are entered into a specially named category.

You can add to it, or delete from it as you wish.

Type the category name on the TO (or BCC) line and they all get the same mail.
