Only through your email account can you make special lists.
You will have to make a new group and invite or add them there :)

hi i m the owner of a group. i want to know that how can i set a filter. i mean i want a good email to my all friends but some bad guys sending such a adult emails. and i want to delete but not blocked this user. i want to set a filter. coz if i think that some emails good and bad then i can select them. i just wat set a filter and wanna to send good emails to all friends. so plz guide me and help me.

Group email service crashes?
I wonder if any of the rest of you suffer the constant frustration of Yahoo groups crashes. It never improves. One or two previews and suddenly it closes down. Even you have copied it, you can't paste it back it. I'm going to look for another group mail service. I've had it (after several years!!! enough patience,no?)

Is he a member of the group? If not, the email will not go through to the group. Otherwise just check the group's message archives and see if it's there.

First for how to add to your e-mail Group. Is it a Yahoo Group, or is it hosted by some other web site? You need to add Additional Details to your question stating which web site it's hosted on. Anyway, if it's a Yahoo Group, you can easily add to it after you log in to its web site, though it depends on what you want to add to it.
* If you want to add to the Group's description, or add a picture on its home page, then click the Management link on the left-hand side of the page. There is no way. They could simply view the source code and copy it or by some other means.

You cannot. Unless you wite them on an image file like jpg or png, and send them the image. Spammers frequently do this to get thru spam filters.

As you have opted for individual delivery of e mails sent to your group, you should normally receive all messages posted in the group site, to your specified e mail address. You say this is not happening. (I presume you are on a Yahoo group.)

Is there a way for a moderator to add an email address to his group without sending an invite?
If I want to just add a user to my group, as a moderator can I directly enter an email address somwhere? I cannot find this in the UI.

not sure who or why it was canceled, you'd need to be more specific about that but generally, if you still have the Yahoo ID, you can add an address to it

I am a member of lot of groups. I have set webmail option for my groups. But somehow my group email settings are changed and I am notified about that and I start recieving group mails. I change email settings and again somehow it is changed and I starts recieving the mails.

Emails from a group usually bounce because there isn't enough room (memory) at the email address it is sending it to for the email to be excepted. If you have a large amount of memory left at your email address then you need to contact Yahoo as this is their fault. Should you have little to no memory left at your email address then you need to either delete emails get an account with your provider that has a larger memory bank, unfortunately you usually have to pay for those.

Recently when I select a group from my address book, click to send a message to all, it does not take me to compose, it kicks me back to yahoo home email page. Why is this and why did it only begin happening a few days ago?

Yahoo is making changes and is also having a severe problem with emails not going through to groups. Yahoo is aware of the email problem and their engineers are working on this right now. 3rd request When replying to a yahoo group email I can not delete the trailers so I have not been able to repl
Why can I not delete the trailers when replying to to a Yahoo group email such as the D1 yahoo group. I have tried to get help for months I am paying for this yet I can not reply to any message. I have ask tecs and they said it is a Yahoo problem neither 1 of my pc's can delete the trailers so it is not a pc. problem

I'm not sure what you mean by "Trailers" but if you click on the message you're replying to, you should get a box which surrounds it. If you then click again you should be able to highlight whatever you want to delete. This new Yahoo Groups mail is a real pain, isn't it.

If you wish to reply to a Yahoo Groups message, reply to the Group's email address. As long as you are a registered user to that group with that email, it will post to your group so long as your group is set to accepts posts from all members (ie not just mods).

Spamming from Yahoo Group Email Address?
My group is currently getting spammed by the user utilising the group's email address i.e. ???????@yahoogroups.com.
By changing the moderator setttings to allow only moderated emails through does not seem to stop this from happening..

You need to moderate all the members and not just the new members since that spammer is not new as far as the yahoo group is concerned. And hopefully he has not stolen the username and password since he can block you from accessing your own group!

What is "no_reply@yahoogroups.com" that I see in my group email from friends?
I guess you are getting the digest. Yahoo doesn't want replies to the address from which they send it to group members. To send a message to the group, you would address it as follows (change XXX to the exact group name): XXX@yahoogroups.com

You can access Yahoo mail, gmail and the email of most ISP's using POP3 - using Outlook Express. you then put all your email addresses in a group in Outlook Express and you then send an email to the group. I have that for my Yahoo group. So I can email them via the group email or just using Outlook Express. I used to do a newsletter - and did it in the same way. If you want to send jokes or whatever to all your friends - create a group in Outlook Express and then just send to them all. You can also click - select recipients and just click the recipients you want to send to. This is fast - and you can send blind copies of virus warnings or a good joke to all of your friends without telling them all each others email addresses and respecting their privacy!

You would need to logon to your Yahoo! group using your browser and using the following options

I forwarded a funny email to about 15 friends with different email addresses last month and we all just got a wierd email with all of our names on it from some strangely named company selling hair loss product and other non mentionable medications etc......- All the same names were on the email as I originally sent it and most of my friends in this group DO NOT know each other personally. How did this company email us all? Is this possibly a virus- the title was important message from elizabeth- how did they get my name? How do i add new email address to group email?
Just put a comma after the last address in the To: field and type in the new address. When you have more than one address in a field, separate them with commas. For example:
To: johndoe@yahoo.com, janedoe@yahoo.com, jimdoe@yahoo.com, etc.

group - just insert your group's name where I wrote "yourgroupsname".

either by going to the group top middle click edit membership- then bottom of next page-
posts in e-mail either on the right side or bottom will have links to change it-
or
go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the column Message Delivery click the arrow for the drop down box and select mail pref you want- click save changes

I'm looking for a list of emails that are generally used a generic, group email accounts...Such as postmaster@, sales@, info@... I dont need the domain just the usual names are are used. thanks

How do I get my yahoo group to come up in a yahoo group search? Can I email yahoo?
I started a Natural Beauty Group, http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/nat... and I want it to come up when I search for natural beauty in yahoo groups and it just doesn' it's over a week old now and I am getting lots of interest I just don't see it coming up when I search for it. The group's main topics are the dangers of chemicals and synthetics in products we use and the natural and good alternatives. It doesn't come up when I google it either, so how are new people supposed to hear about it, I have invited lots, but I hate spamming? Any ideas would be apprieciated!

I run several Yahoo! Groups of different subjects, so have dealt with this before.
You have done your setup correctly (listed in directory, "Natural Beauty" in the group description, etc) so it will turn up eventually.
It is sometimes helpful to add a block of "search terms" at the beginning or end of the group description, but in your case it looks like you have it all covered already in the description -- good job!
The Yahoo! Groups search engine returns hits based on number of members as well, so you might be bumped down a page or two while your group is first forming. This is really annoying when other totally stagnant groups which have come and gone or groups which are not that relevant to your group get a higher placement than yours, but it will change with time.
