Is everything I write available to everyone else in the group?
If I am a part of a yahoo mailing group, can I still email one of the people in the group privately?
Yes, you can. Just click on their e-mail address, or copy and paste it on your message's TO section.
Reply:depending on what the default setting of the group is, depends what the default ends up in the Send To field. anyone can back space that out and enter an address :) it wont go to all eyes of the group
Reply:You can email privately by clicking their email address, write your message, then posting to the member not to the group.
Test it first with a harmless message to be sure it doesn't go to the group post by mistake.
And know that you can't prevent the recipient from posting it to the group, or forwarding it to other members.
