Can someone please tell me how to send an email message to the group that will show as coming from the owner?

I know that I can creat a file and send it out immediately to all group members as a special notice, just did not know if there was a quicker and easier way.

Can someone please tell me how to send an email message to the group that will show as coming from the owner?
Set your own membership to "Moderated" so that your message will be held in the pending folder.





When your message is pending, use the Edit button and change the "From" field to your group's email address. Save the edit and approve the message.





The message will be posted as From: your ID, but with the group's email address rather than yours.
Reply:You can send a Special Notice quicker and easier.


Click Post


Complete your message.


Scroll down near bottom and select "Send this message as a Special Notice".


Click Send.
Reply:just post a note and sign it GROUP OWNER, you might include it in the subject line.. I also changed my id for that group to XXX GROUP MANAGER
