I own and moderate 3 different groups of people who are not particularly computer literate. When someone changes their email address I can tell them how to change their group address themselves by going to 'edit membership' but they often have difficulty doing so. For some, it would be a lot simpler if they could tell me their new address and I could change it for them but there doesn't seem to be a mechanism for a moderator to do this. Can anyone advise whether this can be done and, if so, how?
As group owner/moderator can I change a group member's email address?
i am going to make you a tutorial so you can give it to them. i'll do screenshots each step so it will help them. oh and no you can't do that because i am guessing they figure a lot of mods/ owners would abuse that power. i just found your? and i'll try to get this done b4 your ? expires, it says 1 day.
Reply:As a moderator I can add, ban, delete, and otherwise control about every facet of the membership, yet I can't do a simple email address change to help member who has notified me of such? Please Yahoo, surely you're better than that! Report Abuse
