I didn't get it at my Yahoo account, but at my dsl provider email account.

Yahoo Answers is a Question and Answer site allowing the public to ask questions (like yours) and get answers (like mine). Not everyone on here wants to allow email or IM contacts. There are already a LOT of groups associated with this site.

I believe the site is YAHOO! Answers. Yes I would be interested in starting a group.

I need to email a group of 130 people weekly. How's the best way to set this up and manage in Yahoo or other?

You could start a Yahoo group and, with their permission, ADD those 130 people to that group. Then you would post one message weekly directly to the group itself. Copies of the messages would automatically be sent via email to all 130 people.

most e-mail providers, web based or ISP wouldn't allow that many BCC or not. it'd be tagged as spam. some mail providers will outright shut you down if they detect more than the limit. your best bet is to shorten that 130 into thirds or fourths and then send it
Reply:with Yahoo you could use the BCC in the compose box however I don't know what the number limit is if any. Possibly you would have to split it up

One of my group members' email is always flagged as potential spam when it's not! What to do?

Out of the 273 members in my group, only the email of one person gets sent to me (the moderator) as potential spam and I constantly need to approve her emails (even though it's an unmoderated discussion). How can I indicate to Yahoo Groups that this member is NOT a spammer???

obviously put the name of your group before @yahoogroups.com

you can do it yourself. From Yahoo, go into My Groups. Click on the tab for Edit My Groups. %26amp; then simply select the box that correlates to the group you want to leave.

Reply:well you have send the unsubscribe letter but the proper method completes in two steps...


1. Send a blank email to groupname-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com


2. A confirmation email will be sent to your inbox (check it also in your bulk), Open that email %26amp; click the confirmation link in that.
